API 4300 G Isolated Signal Conditioner Transmitter (Preconfigured 4 mA to 20 mA I/O)
Absolute Process Instruments' DC-to-DC transmitters have 3-way isolation between input, output, and power for optimal protection
Absolute Process Instruments' API 4300 G and API 4300 G D transmitters are both an isolator and a signal conditioner preconfigured to accept a 4 mADC to 20 mADC input and provide an isolated 4 mADC to 20 mADC output. The input can be wired in the field for either sinking or sourcing, allowing for greater flexibility for most process loop applications. A +18 V input loop supply is available for powering the input loop for passive inputs. The sourcing output will drive up to 1000 ohms. Zero and span potentiometers allow for fine-tuning in the field. Loop-tracking LEDs, which vary in intensity with the input/output, as well as an output test button, aid in initial startup and troubleshooting.
The API 4300 G plugs into an industry-standard 8-pin (octal) mounting base (sold separately) and is pin-for-pin compatible with most competitive plug-in products. The API 4300 G is powered by 115 VAC, and the API 4300 G D is powered by 9 VDC to 30 VDC, 10 VAC to 32 VAC. The API 4300 G and API 4300 G D have three-way (input, output, and power) isolation (2000 VRMS) for optimal protection against voltage spikes, transients, and other unwanted power surges. For other input/output ranges, see the API 4380 G.
