The DRV8880 customer EVM is a platform revolving around the DRV8880, a medium voltage dual H-bridge driver and highly-configurable power stage. This device has been optimized to drive a single bipolar stepper with up to 16 degrees of internally generated microstepping.
The DRV8872EVM is a complete solution for evaluating the DRV8872 brushed motor driver. It includes avoltage regulator to create 5 V, and a TLC555 timer configured to supply a PWM input to the DRV8872. The EVM also includes a potentiometer to adjust the speed of the motor by varying the duty cycle of the PWM. Jumpers are provided to configure each input to a logic low, logic high, PWM, or to allow usercontrol of the inputs.
The DRV8816EVM is a complete solution for evaluating the DRV8816 dual ½ -H Bridge Motor Driver. Itincludes an MSP430 microcontroller that is preprogrammed to take input from two dedicated analog potentiometers, for PWM speed control of 2 brushed DC motors. Two enable jumpers provide the ability toHIZ the motor outputs. Power can be provided externally up to 38 volts through the power header.
