Trinamic PD42-x-1670 Smart BLDC Motors | DigiKey Daily

Trinamic offers their family of PD42-x-1670 closed-loop, smart BLDC motors. This compact, easy-to-use PANdrive series of motors are designed for 4,000 RPM nominal velocity, 6.25 to 18.5 Newton-centimeters rated holding torque, and a voltage supply range from 10 to 28 volts DC. Together with a state-of-the-art feature set and a CAN bus interface, this family of motors is highly integrated and offers superior handling. Two firmware options are offered, TMCL and CANopen, making it suitable for lab automation, factory automation, manufacturing, robotics, and CNC applications. Parameters can be permanently stored on the board itself and the PANdrive handles critical operations such as ramp calculations, thereby ensuring low communication traffic. Three different lengths are available, each with 42 millimeter flange size brushless motors.
