Designed to deliver high-precision analog capabilities, Renesas offers their YSTBS1JAE10 Synergy S1 series microcontroller development kit. The S1JA microcontroller provides programmable, flexible, and fully-integrated analog functions, allowing CPU customers to explore algorithms that maximize application performance. This development kit provides analog capabilities including high-accuracy, analog-to-digital converters, rail-to-rail, low-offset op-amps, and fast response digital-analog-converters, which eliminates the need for external components. Various analog configurations are available, ranging from basic analog functions to more complex analog blocks. The software standby-mode consumes only 500 nanoamps of current, which is ideal for battery-operated applications with extended periods in sleep-mode. Other features include an advanced encryption standard cryptography accelerator, capacitive touch sensing, and memory mirror function. Applications include industrial sensors and instrumentation, single-phase electrical meters, and more.
