DFRobot PYNQ-Z2 Development Board | DigiKey Daily
DFRobot introduces their PYNQ-Z2 development board, which is based on the Zynq XC7Z020 FPGA. This dev board is designed to support PYNQ, which is Xilinx’s open-source project that helps to simplify the design of embedded systems using Xilinx Zynq SoCs. Designers can program the SoCs using Python, and the code can be developed and tested directly on this development board. Similar to the way that software libraries are imported and programmed, the Zynq SoC programmable logic circuits are imported as hardware libraries and programmed through APIs. Other features of this development board include the integration of Ethernet, HDMI, audio input and output, an Arduino interface, a Raspberry Pi interface, two Pmod connections, general purpose I/O pins, and more.
