Open Source MCU Platforms DEV-11114: Arduino Pro Mini 328 3.3V/8MHz Manufacturer: SparkFun Electronics

It's blue! It's thin! It's the Arduino Pro Mini! SparkFun's minimal design approach to Arduino. This is a 3.3V Arduino running the 8MHz bootloader. Arduino Pro Mini does not come with connectors populated so that you can solder in any connector or wire with any orientation you need.

Open Source MCU Platforms DEV-13741: SparkFun RedStick Manufacturer: SparkFun Electronics

In 2015 we developed the BadgerStick as a fun and interactive way for people to learn about soldering and engage with SparkFun products at the multiple trade shows we appeared at. In 2016 we have refined the BadgerStick into what you see here, the SparkFun RedStick! The RedStick combines some of our favorite features like the Uno's Optiboot bootloader, the FTDI, small size, and the ability to plug directly into a computer's USB port (no FTDI board or USB cable required).

Open Source MCU Platforms DEV-13907: SparkFun ESP32 Thing Manufacturer: SparkFun Electronics

The SparkFun ESP32 Thing is a comprehensive development platform for Espressif’s ESP32, their super-charged version of the popular ESP8266. Like the 8266, the ESP32 is a WiFi-compatible microcontroller, but to that it adds support for Bluetooth low-energy (i.e BLE, BT4.0, Bluetooth Smart), and nearly 30 I/O pins. The ESP32’s power and versatility will make it the foundation of IoT and connected projects for many years to come.

Open Source MCU Platforms 4319: Adafruit PyRuler - Trinket M0 + Reference Ruler with CircuitPython Manufacturer: Adafruit Industries LLC

Measuring approx 1" x 6" standard-thickness FR4, this gold plated ruler has the most common component packages you'll encounter. It also has font size guide, trace-width diagram, and a set of schematic symbol guides so you can keep track of your transistor pinouts. Embedded in the end is a Trinket M0, our little Cortex M0+ development board, and in addition, there are 4 capacitive touch pads with matching LEDs that our code will turn into a specialized engineer keyboard.

Open Source MCU Platforms ESP32-PICO-KIT: Intergrated Bluetooth and WiFi Microcontroller Manufacturer: Espressif Systems

ESP32-PICO-KIT is an ESP32-based mini development board produced by Espressif. The core of this board is ESP32-PICO-D4 - a System-in-Package (SiP) module with complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalities. Compared to other ESP32 modules, ESP32-PICO-D4 integrates peripheral components in one single package, which otherwise would need to be installed separately.
