Five New Mini-Breaker Design Kits
Riverside, California - May 18, 2016 - Following Bourns’ acquisition of Komatsulite Mfg. Co., Ltd in
late 2014, Bourns is pleased to announce the release of five new Komatsulite™ Mini-Breaker (Thermal
Cut Off Device) design kits for the HC Series, LC Series, KCA Series, and NR Series Mini-Breaker
overtemperature and overcurrent protectors.
Headquartered in Osaka, Japan, Komatsulite is a leader in the field of safety devices for rechargeable
lithium-ion batteries. Komatsulite’s innovative mini-breaker devices enable long battery life, high
current draw and fast recharge, while providing an effective mechanism to protect against
overtemperature and overcurrent conditions.
Komatsulite’s family of mini-breakers complements Bourns’ broad offering of PTC resettable fuses
